HERE'S WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
It could be her accent. It could be that she’s incredibly kind. It could also be that we share a love of ferments and organ meats! Or some combination of the above.. Either way, I’ve no doubt that Jo has made a lasting impression in the healing community (of the AIP sort) and I simply adore her.
Jo, I get so much from your coaching!
I have heard your words about taking care of yourself first thousand times, but this resonated with me in a way it hasn’t before. I have learned something new about AIP with each video you have shared with us, as well as your problem solving thought process which has helped me to reason my way though some ambiguous situations.
PS, I love your cheery ‘check-ins’ complete with a “Hello Possum” or two thrown in. You are absolutely adorable!
This was my first time being part of an online group with anything related to AIP. I love your enthusiasm and your willingness to impart your wisdom. I have learned that I need to go easier on myself and I need to add more vegetables into my diet. Thank you for everything!
I had some real light bulb moments while working with Jo. My attitude when I started was, “AIP – that’s just food choices and nutrient density” and “Self-care? Yeah, I’m all over that”.
Jo has such a wealth of information to impart.
I feel more worthy and more confident. Hats off to Jo, who with her warm and engaging style, makes doing this AIP adventure so much easier. She’s always there to ‘pump our tyres up’ if we falter.
I would describe Jo as a gentle, generous, compassionate guide who walks beside us. She shares her experiences and is authentic, with a sense of ease and humor. It is the feeling of creating community — we are all in this together. Jo appreciates our individuality and the feeling of each of us can explore and make decisions for what works for us personally.
I have been gently pushed to explore areas of my healing path that I hadn’t considered before. With Jo’s support and encouragement, I have developed routines to help me successfully sleep better. I have learned so much and I have ideas of how to continue my healing efforts in the future.
Thank you Joanna for another wonderful AIP Reset. For me, it’s such a safe haven, a supportive “home” where we can all be open and honest without fear of judgment.
I will be forever grateful for all you have opened my eyes to. Your wisdom, knowledge and sense of perspective has inspired me to live my best life!
Your ability to connect and be empathetic to all in our group has been amazing. You have been in the shoes of your clients and it’s evident in what you teach and how you interact with your coaching groups. As a more novice AIP’er – you and the team were awesome helping me navigate the early days of getting settled in. The resources you provide are spot on to cover all aspects and obstacles in AIP or just to make it a little bit easier or even tastier! I was so happy and grateful I signed up for the reset – I will be in another one! It really was outstanding! I learned so much!
I am so happy to know you!
My first realisation in AIP Reset was that I have been really isolated in my ‘healing caper’, shortly followed by recognising how good the solidarity and support can be! I have been muddling my way along and going it alone for more than a decade. For a community of people chronic illnesses to manage, this was a decidedly positive, upbeat and hopeful place to hang out, in a very kind, generous, authentic way – to which I credit Jo’s wonderful leadership skills, full of compassion and empathy mixed with problem solving. Jo compelled us to be curious, to make the link between our choices and their outcomes. It’s amazing how having an objective voice saying ‘how’s that working out for you?!’ can prompt you to see things in a different light!
My AIP Reset experience was everything I wanted and so much more! I was looking for some community and others in the same boat that know what this is like. I certainly got all that. What a great community experience! The tips and ideas that I have been able to add to my arsenal has been worth so much. All I can say is a very big thank you!
Jo is everything you could hope for in an AIP Mentor and coach. Her energy is extraordinary. Her videos are informative, light-hearted and tailored to the group and it’s member’s needs and interests. Her caring enthusiasm and good humour generates a vital response which makes it feel more like a supportive family/tribe than is usual with a group of people I don’t already know! We’ve laughed and cried together, celebrated and commiserated. We’ve learned with and from each other and I look forward to continuing this camaraderie.
Jo has a gifted way of guiding us though her genuine spirit and engaging nature. I am truly grateful for the live discussions, thought provoking questions and information that is provided during the thirty days of every AIP Reset. I think Jo’s program is an essential part of the autoimmune healing process and not only does she help me to reset my diet, she puts me on a wonderful path mentally as well.
