Have a look at these amazing bird life creations by Diana Beltran Herrera. They are made out of coloured paper!

Born in Bogotá, Colombia in 1987 (which makes her just 24 years old!), Diana Beltran Herrera has a degree in Industrial Design, but she clearly is one of those talented people who is just as likely to make it as an artist as a designer.

Can you imagine how much patience she must have…?

Diana, is there any chance you would consider creating a Kiwi for me, please?

There is not too much more I can say about the very talented Ms Beltran Herrera, but her website is well worth a squizz. There are so many more magical creations to see. You can access it here. I am very sure it’s not the last we’ve seen of her…

Postscript: Diana Beltran Herrera has commented on the post! “Hi im diana! im im happy to find all ur nice comments here! really makes me smile a lot! and ill do kiwi and …do u want much more, tell me which birds u would like to see in my magic paper world and ill do them for u!!!!” Thanks Diana!

Hi BH – thanks for stopping by! Yep, I thought so, too.

They are amazing, I think you are right she must have so much patience! They look stunning, another great find TSL . 🙂

I know I don’t have patience like that BCD. I’m a little in awe! 🙂

HI,
Wow, magic it is, a lot of work, but very nicely done. 🙂

She’s clever, isn’t she Mags? 🙂

Love that toucan! It’s amazing! 🙂

Doesn’t it make you smile, Shira? 🙂

I LOVE these. I WANT these. Awesome!

Scary to think she Diana can do this at 24, isn’t it? How clever and talented is she?

Magical paper creations!

Aren’t they, Lady Fi. So glad you like them 🙂

Soooo cool – love them! Though would have to be careful that people dom’t confuse them with a piñata and start swinging at them with a stick… 🙂

Oh no! That would be a disaster, Sparks!

Hi Diana! Thanks so much for stopping by.

A kiwi would be just wonderful. Truly. I’m very flattered. (Do let me know and I’ll blog about it!)

Thanks 🙂

I think my fave has to be the hummingbird! I wonder if she’d make a seagull for us 😉 They are so Sydney. Oh, and the ibis. I went to Sydney Girls’ High and they are notorious for stealing lunches! A kookaburra! A cockatoo!! A rosella! I have so many requests 🙂

Marina – there IS a cockatoo! Go and check out Diana’s wonderful website. A seagull is a great idea. You know the bird that I miss the most in Australia? – A sparrow!

Sparrow – they are all over town here! I’ll send you a live one 😉 I was having fun playing the ‘request game’. I am too scared to check the website as all my options will be there 😉 What about the magpie? And the flamingo? ohhh, an EMU!

I think they are so cute! Isn’t Diana fab’ to have offered to take requests?

…and, you make me laugh! 🙂

They are great! I wish I had her patience too. Yay – I made Sydners laugh. My Tuesday is done 😉

Me too, J. Aren’t they amazingly clever?
