Ingredients
  • 1 can sardines (in water or olive oil)
  • 1⁄4 cup full fat coconut milk
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper (omit for AIP)
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
  • Cilantro for garnish (coriander if you're down under!)
Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients into a blender or food processor, pulse until completely smooth and creamy.
  2. If too thin, set back in the fridge for ten minutes. It should be a light, airy, spreadable consistency.
  3. Use carrots, radishes and celery, or other vegetables as crudites!
Notes
Tip: Make sure to source sustainable, low- mercury seafood whenever possible.
