Things changed a little at Joanna Frankham Coaching BACK in 2021…
The big one
is was that I moved to New Zealand. With my partner and my very old dog. Into a house that we bought off the internet. In the middle of a global pandemic while lockdowns were happening in Australia and NZ.
Things were a little tense there for a while.
But we have made it!
As a result of all these personal shenanigans, I haven’t been doing much mentoring or coaching or blogging or recipe developing.
It feels like now is a good time to re-evaluate my stuff. And I’m taking some time to do just that.
But, I’ve been missing my crew. And it seems they’ve been missing me back.
I’ve been sending out the odd email update.
They’ve been very well received. With oodles of feedback. Kind of surprised me, to be honest.
It’s just me talking about what’s happening in this teeny country at the bottom of the world. As I settle into my new life. The occasional recipe. Thoughts and feelings. Stuff and nonsense.
And now, because my crew want to hear, I’m opening these email updates up. To you. And making them semi-regular. Like monthly-ish.
I’m calling this group my ‘In-Betweeners’. Because change is afoot, but I don’t really know what it’s going to look like until I/we get there. It’s not AIP mentoring. It’s more like life stuff from a reasonably health-conscious and slightly irreverent 50-something woman who’s moved home to New Zealand after a very long time away.
And if that sounds like something you’d be interested in, come and join us. I’d love to have you along for the ride.
Some of that feedback I referred to…
I love your enthusiasm, positive attitude, quirkiness, and sense of fun and when you bring me to things that make me think, ponder and look at life from a new or different exciting perspective. Open heart, open mind.
One of the only emails I get that I open and read straight away. Always so warm and funny.
I love your humour, your resilience, your take on life, your adventurous spirit, your recipes, your honesty and your animals. You are an inspiration, and we need more of you.
I love how normal and natural you are. I feel like if we met in real life, we would be friends I love hearing about your life on the other side of the world. I love seeing your vids and always keep things you send until I have plenty of time to enjoy them. I think you are awesome!
March 2023 UPDATE: After two years, I’m easing my way back into blogging. Slowly. While my AIP way of life set the foundation for some #bloodyfabulous habits (not to mention rituals!), my focus has shifted to finding tips and tricks and tweaks that will enable me to be the healthiest old person I can be. One who is physically, mentally and emotionally able well into my advanced age.
My In-Betweeners newsletter is staying. Because I like the name. And at 50-something, I feel like an in-betweener. In between youth and old age.
If that sounds like you, too – then I invite you to come and join me!
