Qualia is calling me…

We have had such a wet summer here in Sydney, I have been dreaming of endless days of sun by a pool where I am waited on hand and foot.

Qualia may just fit the bill…

Located in the Whitsundays, off the coast of Queensland, Qualia puts the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef right on your doorstep.

You have a choice of 60 individual pavilions, each with breathtaking views. There are spacious one-bedroom freestanding pavilions (both Windward and Leeward) that provide an indulgent space to relax in and unwind, with either a sundeck or your own private infinity edge plunge pool (I know which one I want!).

Included in your Qualia accommodation are on-island transfers, your choice of breakfast-only or breakfast and dinner, use of non-motorised watercraft, beach drop-offs to selected local beaches (Whitehaven Beach is the most photographed beach in Australia), plus guests also have their own two-seater golf buggy, allowing the rest of the Island to be explored.

Then, there is Spa Qualia, which offers an extensive range of luxurious local and international treatments.  Count me in!

If you live in Australia, a direct flight takes only 2-3 hours from gateway cities on Australia’s east coast.

Mango daiquiris by the pool, anyone?

Qualia is calling me too……and Mango daiquiris? Do I really need to answer that? 🙂 That place looks ridiculous….ly……amazing!

I have been (once!) and it is. AND, my swim-phobic friend, you don’t have to even dip a toe in the water. You can just sit and sip daiquiris while looking gorgeous!

My kind of relaxing vacay! However IF hot enough I am a jumper, and the water DOES look pretty darned inviting….! A quick dip in the heat makes lying in the sun feel that much better doesn’t it?

Hi,

Howdy Arhitektura – It’s pretty fab’, but there are LOTS of amazing places down here!

Nice post by author. It’s very amazing place. It is heaven on earth. Thanks for sharing such wonderful pictures and information with us.

Looks absolutely stunning…even more so when you think of all those marvellous landscapes and sandy beaches from the point of view of not-yet-much-in-bloom spring in Poland…

It IS gorgeous there, Layla.

Loving some of the imagery in your blog, too!
